We are thrilled to announce that Balena has been named one of the 13 winners in the #MakeitCircularChallenge, presented by What Design Can Do and IKEA Foundation. From hundreds of entries worldwide, we are proud to have been recognized for our commitment to creating a more circular economy for consumer goods products.
Balena’s head of operations, Tzachi Shem Tov took part in the highly anticipated pitch event hosted by What Design Can Do at Amsterdam's Stedelijk Museum in June 2023. This event celebrated the next generation of creative innovators who are leading the way in circular design. The WDCD Circular Showcase brought together over 200 talented creatives, policymakers, and entrepreneurs, all eager to explore the latest trends and technologies shaping the future of circular design. The event was an afternoon packed with innovative ideas and groundbreaking concepts.
Thank you to SECRID for selecting Balena as one of their supported winners. We're honoured to have been chosen among the many talented designers and entrepreneurs.
A big thank you goes to What Design Can Do for organising this exceptional event and award ceremony. Together, we are dedicated to shaping a future that embraces a circular economy. We eagerly anticipate participating in the development program co-created by the Impact Hub Network.
