We successfully demonstrated the circular lifecycle of our material, from development, to manufacturing to usage, to end-of-life in an industrial compost facility, done on a local, smart scale that could easily be scaled and implemented for any industry or brand across the globe.
This proof-of-concept showed the benefits and unique properties of our advanced, fully operational material that can serve circular purposes for various companies looking for sustainable and durable solutions.

When you feel that you are done using your BioCir Slides, we will make sure to take them back and get them composted in one of partner industrial compost facility ensuring the full decomposition and biodegradation of the material back to the ground safely, and by that completing a fully circular process.
Simply drop off the slides and the Balena team will make sure they reach their end of life responsibly in one of our local compost facilities.
